David P. Burlage

Former Chief Financial Officer

Dave Burlage is retiring as chief financial officer in August of 2024. As chief financial officer, Dave Burlage has taken a leadership role in directing the financial affairs of CoBank and in the development of the bank’s overall financial position. He leads CoBank’s treasury, financial planning and analysis, capital planning, accounting, tax, and reporting functions. Mr. Burlage is a member of the Management Executive Committee and chairs the bank’s Asset/Liability and Disclosure Committees.

Prior to joining CoBank, Mr. Burlage was the chief financial officer at Interlink Group, Inc., a privately owned IT professional services company in Denver, Colorado. As a key member of the executive management team, he directed all financial operations and network support functions. Earlier, Mr. Burlage was with VERIO, Inc., a subsidiary of NTT Communications; Titanium Metals Corporation; and Arthur Andersen & Co., where he began his career as an auditor. Mr. Burlage has more than 34 years of financial experience.

Mr. Burlage graduated cum laude from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and finance. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Ohio and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Burlage serves on the board of directors of Young Americans Center for Financial Education.
