CoBank announces director resignation

DENVER (March 17, 2025) — CoBank, a cooperative bank serving agribusinesses, rural infrastructure providers and Farm Credit associations throughout the United States, today announced the resignation of Scheherazade Rehman from the bank’s board of directors effective March 31, 2025.

“On behalf of everyone on the board, I want to thank Scheherazade for her years of service on the CoBank board. Her deep experience with financial markets and global risk brought a unique and valued perspective and contribution to the bank and its mission," said Kevin Still, chair of the CoBank board.

Dr. Rehman, who is stepping down due to scheduling conflicts, was appointed to the board in 2019. Rehman has served as a member of the board’s Risk Committee.

Dr. Rehman is a professor of international affairs and international finance and business at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She is also the president and managing partner of an international financial markets and global risk consulting company.

The CoBank board will evaluate its needs and conduct a search for a new appointed director at the time and following the process determined most appropriate by the board.
