Position Summary:
Manages restructuring a segment
of the company's adversely-graded loans
("Special Assets"). Works with officials of
lending and borrowing institutions to better
secure collateral, equity, or other assets of
the borrower; and other activities designed to
preserve the loan principal, gather interest as
possible, and prevent the loan from being
charged off.
Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business,
finance or relevant discipline and 8-10 years
relevant experience; or appropriate combination
of education and experience. In-depth knowledge
of complex lending, financial structuring, and
credit arrangements, and of bank products.
In-depth knowledge of loan workout issues
including bankruptcy, troubled debt
restructurings, and creditors' rights.
Excellent negotiation, oral and written
communication skills. Knowledge of specific
industry, key risks, long-term issues.
Other Requirements:
Demonstrated creativity and
innovation in addressing financing issues.
Ability to consolidate many resources to
complete and finalize transactions.
