Position Summary:

Structures and markets syndication, private placement, asset securitization, and tax-exempt bond transactions.  Negotiates terms and conditions with bank customers and acts as the intermediary between debt issuers and investors.  Stays abreast of market trends and provides pricing and structuring consulting services for CoBank relationship managers.

Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline and 10+ years experience in capital markets, credit and financing alternatives, preferably in a commercial or investment-banking environment; or appropriate combination of education and experience.  MBA preferred. Advanced knowledge of credit structuring, including covenant and security packages, market-based pricing dynamics, and investor development.

Other Requirements:

Ability to negotiate complex transaction terms and conditions between parties with diametrically opposed interests (borrowers and investors).  Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of customers, management, and staff. Ability to manage a variety of different tasks and effectively prioritize duties.  Some travel required.
